The United States has launched a missile attack on Iran’s Larak Island, located in the Strait of Hormuz. The attack occurred today, Wednesday, at approximately 2:48 PM local time.

According to news agency Tasnim News, loud explosion sounds were heard on Larak after the attack.

Tasnim News stated that authorities are currently assessing the intensity of the attack, determining where the missile struck and the extent of the damage caused.

The United States has been conducting attacks in Iran for over 10 days, related to the control of the Strait of Hormuz. In response, Iranian forces have launched retaliatory attacks on Gulf Arab countries. Among these, at least two US soldiers were killed and several others injured in an Iranian attack in Jordan.

CNN reported that over a hundred US soldiers have been injured in Iranian attacks over the past two weeks. However, this information is only now being released. A US defense official stated that casualties are being kept confidential for security reasons.
