Iran has formally endorsed Chinese President Xi Jinping’s proposed four-point peace plan, aimed at establishing lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.

Iran’s Ambassador to China, Abdorreza Rahmani Fazli, stated in a press release that Tehran is prepared to work closely with Beijing to implement this initiative. According to him, the main objectives of this plan are to ensure sustainable security in the Persian Gulf region and to strengthen development cooperation among regional countries.

He further added that the matter was seriously discussed during a recent meeting between the foreign ministers of both countries. Iran’s stance is being viewed as a positive response to China’s growing diplomatic role.

Ambassador Fazli noted that Xi Jinping’s four-point proposal could serve as an effective framework for ensuring common development and security.

Earlier, President Xi Jinping had presented this four-point peace proposal during a meeting with UAE President Zayed Al Nahyan, who was visiting Beijing. This proposal has added a new dimension to world diplomacy, aiming to address the current unstable situation in the Middle East and uphold regional stability.

International political analysts believe that Iran’s public support will further strengthen Beijing’s peace efforts.
